Exporting your analysis
Everything in Competitor Intelligence is built to be shared. When you need to take your analysis into a board pack, a trading meeting, or your own models, you can export it in two formats.
Export formats
- PDF. A presentation-ready document. Best when you're sharing the analysis as-is: dropping it into a deck, sending it to a colleague, or bringing it to a meeting.
- Excel spreadsheet. The underlying data in a workable format. Best when you want to build on the analysis: running your own calculations, combining it with internal data, or feeding it into other tools.
How to export
- Open the view you want to export, such as the feature comparison.
- Use the edit control to tailor the table first if you want to, keeping just the products and attributes that matter for your audience.
- Select Export at the top of the view and choose PDF or Excel.
Your export reflects the table exactly as you've set it up, so any filters, product selections, or edits you've made are carried through.
Tips
- Edit before you export. A comparison trimmed to the five products your board cares about lands better than the full top 50.
- Use PDF for people who need the answer, and Excel for people who need the data.
- Exports are a snapshot of the analysis at the moment you download them. Your tracker keeps updating on its daily or weekly schedule, so re-export when you need the latest picture.
